School's Out!
Oh, no! It's spring break, a teacher workday, or a snow day. And no matter what, you have to go to work.

It's ok. Take a deep breath. Then, call the Shaw JCC. If your kids are out of school, we've got a great program planned. Pack a parve lunch (what's that?) and a swimsuit and stop worrying. You can drop your kids off as early as 7 am and pick them up as late as 6 pm. In between, they'll have a great day. Want to know more? Call Children's Services Director Katie Vensel at 330-835-0035 or email her here.

Costs for School's Out:
Shaw JCC Members $29
Shaw JCC School-Age Child Care participants $34
Shaw JCC non-members: $49

Need to get off to an early start in the morning? Is afterschool programming a challenge? The Shaw JCC has just the before and after school program for you. When the alarm rings in the morning and the school bell rings at the end of the day the JCC SACC programs provide before and after school adventures that not only include breakfast, healthy snacks, homework time, and supervised play but also . . . math masters, cooking, science exploration, literacy challenges, gym, Art 101, chess club, community club, junior senate, and great friends.

School Age Childcare is a state licensed program designed to provide you with opportunities to engage and explore activities that will benefit your emotional, physical, social, and educational well-being. This program is flexible enough to accommodate children from different age groups and still provide the time to meet the special needs of individual children. In addition you will participate in the JCC’s Family Wellness Program and receive information on the importance of a healthy lifestyle which includes: self-esteem, peer pressure, healthy eating, physical fitness, study skills, goal setting, and more.
