Camp JCC has different meanings for different people. For some, Camp JCC means creating lifelong friendships. For others, Camp JCC means trying new experiences each day.
Whether you are climbing through our Ropes Course with Traditional Camp, playing basketball with Cleveland Cavaliers Basketball Camp, having the adventure of a lifetime at Club Getaway, or exploring your artistic side with Pottery Camp, we have something for everyone. Your little ones, ages 6 weeks-5 years, will love Summer Playhouse, a nurturing program that fills summer days with swimming, gym time, camp tunes, nature walks, cooking and FUN!

Pitzel: for infants and toddlers, ages 6 wks-12 months
Your littlest ones will spend the summer in a nurturing environment filled with activities and experiences that promote gross motor, fine motor, cognitive, language and social development.
K’Ton Ton: for children 21 months-2 years by 9/30/08
It’s time to move around at summer camp! Your toddler will sing, do crafts, meet special visitors swim and enjoy small group activities. It’s the perfect first summer at camp!
Chaverim: for children 3 years old by 9/30/08
Has your little one mastered the potty? Then it’s time for a summer camp experience filled with sports, sing-a-longs, crafts, cooking, exploration, nature activities and special visitors!
Yeladim: for children 4 years old by 9/30/08
Your child entering preK will spend the summer having lots of outdoor fun, including swimming, crafts and nature specialties as well as indoor activities like cooking and learning more about Shabbat.
Kochavim: Kinderstar Adventure Camp
It’s nearly time for Kindergarten! Your camper will get ready for school with a real summer camp experience including early morning flag raisings and learning to sing the Hatikvah, Israel’s national anthem; days filled with cooking, crafts, science, swimming, group sports, games and friends; and weekly field trips. Summer Playhouse is the perfect transition to big-kid school!

Circus Day
The Circus comes to Akron for one day only this summer! Join the fun under the big top at Camp JCC!
Israel Day
Aharon and Lihi Schwartz, Israeli Shlichim (ambassadors) to the Akron and Canton communities will be bringing Israel to Camp JCC. With Israeli food, games, music, and energy, Israel will arrive in Akron this summer.
Mitzvah Fair
Through the generosity of the JCC Association of North America, this summer's Camp JCC campers will be able to join together in our Mitzvah Fair. Through interactive, exciting games campers will further develop their sense of disability awareness, kindness to others, and compassion.
Maccabiah
Join the fun and friendly competition at our annual Camp JCC Maccabiah (Color War). Water sports, Relay Races, and of course, Ruach (spirit) competitions make Maccabiah a camper favorite!
