Jewish and Cultural Programs and Events

"Holocaust and Heroism Remembrance Day", known coloquially in Israel and abroad as Yom HaShoah and in English as Holocaust Remembrance Day, or Holocaust Day, is observed as Israel's day of commemoration for the approximately six million Jews who perished in the Holocaust. In Israel, it is a national memorial day and public holiday.

Here at the JCC, this year’s Yom HaShoah commemoration will present Betty Gold, one of the few Holocaust survivors from Trochenbrod. She will share her story of survival with us as we commemorate Yom HaShoah.

Takes place Sunday, May 1 at 7pm. This event is free and open to the public.
