KidsFair, Akrons premier family event now in its eighth year, will take place on Sunday, November 4 from noon -5 PM at the John S. Knight Center in downtown Akron. Admission for adults and children is $2 with a canned good for the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank. Once inside, everything is free!
KidsFair, presented by the Shaw JCC of Akron, is a day of fun, entertainment, games and education. This year, families can enjoy theAkron Aeros pitch machine, Reach Out and Dance from the Cuyahoga Valley Youth Ballet, the Toy Zone from United Disability Services, Radio Disney games and give aways, a climbing wall and much more. New this year, KidsFair visitors will be able to participate in a citizen journalism project sponsored by the Akron Beacon Journal.
KidsFair also provides an afternoon of live stage performances that showcase local talent and feature Storybook Fun with Curious George from PBS Channels 45 and 49. This years entertainment schedule includes:
