Back to School

It is hard to believe that the school year is almost upon us. Our teachers have worked so hard this week – cleaning, re-organizing, and setting up their classrooms. We have a brand new look in every space and can hardly wait to see our students’ reactions! We have also focused on learning- this week we began the Step Up to Quality process for the first time at our center, and had two nationally renowned speakers address us on issues related to kindness and inclusion, and other important educational issues.

Just a few reminders- We hope you will be able to share in the learning by joining ustonight and Thursday at 7:00 p.m. both nights in Area 1 as we learn more about kindness from Rabbi Muller, and educational values and the importance of relationship in learning on Wed. from Rabbi Berger

Our Back to School night (for adults only) is on Sept. 9, and also begins at 7:00 p.m. We will meet in the auditorium and then adjourn to individual classrooms to meet with teachers. We are looking forward to actively partnering with you throughout the year. As Henry Ford once said: “Coming together is a beginning; keeping together is progress; working together is success.”

Looking forward to seeing you soon -

Kathy
