Weathervane Playhouse Theater is packing up and heading to the Shaw JCC of Akron for Weathervane Wednesdays, Feb. 22-May 3, 5-6 p.m. This hour-long workshop encourages children ages five to 11 to unplug from their day-to-day and explore the world waiting to be revealed through a love of imagination and theater.

“We’re excited to partner with Weathervane to offer some of the best youth theater classes in the area,” said Scott Zorn, Youth/Camp and Program Director at the Shaw JCC. “Children will benefit from the same high-quality instruction that is offered at the Weathervane Playhouse Theater.”

Budding actors will join a professional teaching artist from Weathervane Playhouse as they learn to become a “star of the stage” and develop theater terminology and technique through this fun, hands-on class. Families and friends are invited to a final performance on the last day.
