A New Interactive Series: Mindfulness Meditation

Cost: $10 M/G - Per Session

 

Mindfulness is the psychological state of awareness. These sessions will enable you to understand it's definition and apply it to real-life situations. You will learn about the practices or activities that can promote this state. Each session focuses on a different topic of mindfulness. 

Mindfulness Meditation IV: Cultivating Kindness

Monday, June 26

6:30 p.m.

Cost: $10 M/G

 

Learn "Loving-Kindness" as a concept and as a practice. Loving-Kindness starts with our intention to cultivate a more open and friendlier stance toward ourselves and others. Ultimately, the difference between a joyful, happy life and misery has to do with our perception of our experiences. 

 

Mindfulness Meditation V: Willingness To Be With Things As They Are

6:30 p.m.

Cost: $10 M/G

 

Focus on our resistance against what we see as unpleasant. Our experience of something - be it pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral - is simply another layer in the richness of the moment. It is the lens through which we experience life. Our willingness to be with things as they are in the moment can radically change the way we relate to the stress and pain we experience. 

 

Mindfulness Meditation III: Moving Forward

Monday, August 28

6:30 p.m.

Cost: $10 M/G

 

Focus on deepening and reinforcing the practices and concepts previously explored. There will be more time for questions and shared experiences. We will take time to explore what is next and moving forward with an ongoing practice.

    • You must include your Member ID, which can be found on your membership card and begins with a "J" followed by 5 digits.

 

Program Registration

  • From Home, click "Program Registration"
  • Click "Fitness" and "View Programs" (or search by name)
  • Find Program. Ex: "Puppy Yoga"
  • Select "Add to Cart" and "Continue to Cart"
  • Enter your payment information and submit!
