This hands-on seminar introduces simple strategies to children and parents to prevent abduction by criminals who prey on children. Children will learn simple ways of recognizing danger and escaping it while calling as much attention to themselves as possible. Children are given the option to practice responses to various scenarios with the instructor. The instructor will be wearing police issue riot gear, and the children are strongly encouraged to strike as they would in reality. Instructor Mark Juszczec has 30+ years’ experience in combat sports, 4th degree black belt Seiei Kan karate, 1st degree black belt Seiei Kan Jiu Jitsu and has been teaching/coaching since 1983.
