  • Signed up for a membership online? We can't wait to see you! But first, know these few things:

    • A membership online does not gurantee a membership at the Shaw JCC. All of our members must go through a background check before becoming a member. (If you are not accepted as a member, you will get a full refund.)

    • Once you have signed up for membership online, please stop by the front desk M-F from 7:30AM-6PM to confirm membership and get your card(s).

When you become a member at the Shaw JCC, you are not only becoming a member of our Akron JCC community, you are becoming a member of the nationwide JCC community! We offer reciprocity at over 350 other JCC's across the country. For business or pleasure travel, just show your current membership card at any JCC and they will gladly welcome you. Restrictions may apply of differ at other JCCs and you are encouraged to contact the visiting JCC prior to your trip.
